Sometimes, despite your best efforts, things just don't go to plan, and you get stuck. This can be a very lonely place as an independent developer.

If you're stuck in some way, follow the steps below as a starting point:

  • Read this documentation in full to check you haven't missed something
  • Make sure the plugin has installed sucessfully. Try using the Joomla! debug feature if you suspect problems
  • If you've got the plugin working but are getting unexpected results, turn on debug mode in the plugin and review the log file for errors
  • Have a look through the support forum to see if your problem has been discovered before - there may already be a solution
  • Finally, if all else fails, get in touch and we'll do what we can to help you out
